Enhanced EU tax compliance, broader language and support capabilities, expanded global transactions templates.
Direct Commerce, Inc. (DCI) announces the completion of new international enhancements to their SaaS-based Procure-to-Pay (P2P) product platform. Upgrades include enhanced European VAT rules, expanded language capability and improved jurisdictional compliance thus enabling fast, automated processing of corporate invoicing and payments on a global scale. These infrastructure advancements allow customers and suppliers, on both sides of the P2P process worldwide, to save money and time via electronic transactions and Dynamic Discounting.
Working closely with one of Direct Commerce’s large enterprise customers, the platform improvements address the increasing complexities of the trans-national supply chain landscape. “By carefully listening to customer needs, we have invested heavily in automating the EU VAT compliance requirements, resulting in easy-to-use, secure eInvoicing and payments enhancements that can be deployed on a global scale.” said Bruce Hanavan, CEO of Direct Commerce.
Some highlights of the EU upgrades include:
- Enhanced automation and maintenance of complex EU VAT tax tables which are tailored to each EU country.
- Expanded multi-currency transaction engine and increased multi-language support.
- New configurable eInvoicing templates to address a variety of government compliance standards.
- Improved hardware infrastructure to safeguard fast, secure, robust Dynamic Discount and Financing solutions.
"This latest global deployment represents a real step forward in terms of compliance and accuracy of invoices and VAT taxes for our customers, and it bolsters and reaffirms Direct Commerce's ability to support customers and suppliers on a global scale.
