Direct Commerce successfully integrates with SDI facilitating fully automated electronic invoicing for B2B Enterprise in Italy.
San Francisco, California: Direct Commerce, Inc. (DCI) announces its successful P2P Platform connection with the Italian Government’s Sistema di Interscambio (SDI) for electronic invoicing.
Direct Commerce clients can now access a compliant platform from which domestic Italian businesses can accurately receive invoices from the SDI in accordance with the government’s requirements. In addition to this functionality, the Direct Commerce P2P Platform supports multiple types of compliant invoice formats including PO-based, non-PO based and specialized invoices. The Direct Commerce functionality also enables auto-posting into SAP and compliant archiving.
These new features are included in Direct Commerce’s global SaaS-based Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Automation Platform, with cloud-based compliance services through an integration with Sovos Trustweaver. The Direct Commerce Platform includes enhanced European VAT rules, expanded language capability, and improved jurisdictional compliance thus enabling fast, automated processing of corporate invoicing and payments on a global scale.
“Through its integration with Sovos Trustweaver, Direct Commerce is safeguarding customers doing business in Italy -- and in other countries as they come as the introduce similar mandates,” said Christiaan van der Valk, Vice President of Strategy at Sovos. “As VAT enforcement moves to the transaction level in Italy and beyond, Sovos Intelligent Compliance Cloud guarantees multi-country compliance for automated e-invoicing processes, supporting clearance, signing validation and e-archiving.”
“Our agile development approach was key to our rapid and successful integration with Sovos TrustWeaver and the SDI. In addition, our partnership with Sovos Trustweaver ensures we meet all SDI regulations and our partnership with The VAT Consultancy validates domestic and global tax logistics. Suppliers are actively using our easy-to-use, secure Platform to submit government-compliant electronic invoicing to their clients.” said Bruce Hanavan, CEO of Direct Commerce.
